Happy Hannukah!

Wearing a blue and white outfit in honor of Hannukah, complete with a lethally rich latke scent infused into the fibers of my clothes. My fault entirely - I should have known that wearing anything in the presence of potato pancakes sizzling on the kitchen stove will result in clothes marked with latke scent for at least two washes. Oh well, the latke scented outfit fits the theme, in this case. Hopefully the latke smell didn't find its way into my new favorite shoes! I haven't checked yet, simply because I'd rather not smell my shoes. These suede Steve Madden wedges will surely be sticking around for quite a while. I had been looking for a pair of solid, versatile wedges like these for ages, and finally snatched these during Black Friday (which doesn't mean much - they still weren't very reasonably priced). This vintage crop top made its debut today and kindly contributed to this blue and white color scheme. I found this top in a thrift store about a month ago, and haven't had a chance to wear it until now, given the indecisive weather. I was surprised to be greeted by rain on my way down south to LA for Hannukah last weekend. Sure enough, the sky cleared up and made for perfect hiking weather the next day. My mission is complete: I made a Hannukah outfit post. Happy Holidays! xx

A Girl's Best Friend

I enjoy making furry friends on the way home from rehearsal. Feeling very whimsical in my favorite pink lace shorts and boho H&M semi-crop top. Not very fall-like, I am aware. I am slightly in denial that school has started and summer is over, so I will continue to wear summery hues and styles until the weather convinces me that fall has indeed come. I seem to be gravitating toward delicate colors and textures recently, like this simple eyelet top. I do not know what about it makes it so appealing, but it has definitely been one of my ultimate go-to articles of clothing for those don't-know-what-to-wear school mornings as of late. On a slightly different note, how cute is this cat? If only my cat would let me pick him up. Just to clarify: I love dogs, too - I just happened to run into this cat. :)

1920s Inspired

tights - romwe, bag - H&M, skirt - Urban Outfitters, turban - Forever XXI, sweater - Brandy Melville, ring - vintage

I spent my second day back from a two week acting conservatory in Los Angeles chilling downtown while donning this 1920s-inspired look. While in so-cal, I purchased this precious Brandy Melville fringed dark grey sweater. Although it was a tad more expensive than my usual quota on single articles of clothing, I knew if I didn't snag it up right there and then, I would regret it. Naturally, I was ecstatic to make its first use a classy one. One thing is for certain: from fringed flapper dresses to feather headbands, the roaring twenties sure had a roaring fashion sense - and the Great Gatsby can account for that statement. I hope all your summers have been well, &it's good to be back!

Soft

Although spring is now making its way for summer, I am by no means expecting to stray away from this spring's soft trend. Flowy white fabrics, crochet and lace, floral patterns, anything sheer, and pastels will definitely remain close to my heart throughout the summer. I absolutely love the soft feminine vibe these photos emit. Tomorrow morning instead of engaging myself into attempting to light a match with my home-made paraboloid, I will be dreaming of laying in a field of flowers, as some of these photos exemplify! Happy Sunday!
