Mint Crochet on a Sunny Day

Excreting bohemian vibes like this blog's namesake on a sunny winter afternoon. I was ecstatic watch my chunky knit collection increase by one with this cozy crochet. I simply adore this mint Romwe knit's unique fit.  I'm not sure what I love most about it: its batwing sleeves or its slouchy over the shoulder placement. This knit isn't the only unique component of this outfit - these retro sunnies I snatched for $10 at an American Apparel sale in San Francisco scream futuristic in a satisfying way. This outfit suited these warm December Cali rays perfectly. Spent my 3rd day as a second semester senior strolling downtown and hanging out in a local cafe. With finals complete and college apps halfway finished, more and more stress is aleviating off of my shoulders one action item at a time. Just in time for Hannukah! Yesterday I whipped out my old yellow tiered prom dress and magically transformed it into a shirt by tucking it into a favorite pair of simple black shorts. Lately, this black sash has been attached to me some way or another. I love simple items that can transform themselves into completely different elements to an outfit - sort of like tofu! (i.e. this little sash has been there for me in headband form, as a belt, and as a necktie.. to name a few.) On a slightly more depressing note, to say that this week will be hectic is quite the understatement. With finals approaching and teachers piling on massive last minute projects, I will be lucky to survive these last 2 weeks of school without burning out. Hopefully, the smell of summer lingering around the corner will make the process of cramming knowledge into my unwilling brain a little bit easier! Okay, done complaining. Have a fantastic week. You can make it through and so can I - summer is just around the corner! (if not already at your fingertips)
