Today was the first day (throughout my whole 6 days of summer vacation) I began to get that summer feeling. After lathering on the sunscreen I went adventuring with Nat today and soaked up the rays. As the recently-90-degree-weather cooled off late this afternoon, I whipped out my pleather jacket, quickly seizing the opportunity to add a touch of edginess to this sweet floral dress. More about this outfit: I actually do not remember where I got this dress specifically. All I know is I purchased it last year at a small boutique somewhere in Los Angeles, before the bustier trend really caught on. Currently, it is the only piece in my wardrobe following this trend.. so treasure it, I must! I am truly glad it is summer, because now I can dust off my seemingly never-ending collection of floral garments (mostly shirts) I have picked up over the years. When I think of summer, off the top of my head, I think of floral prints, ice cream, guava juice, and chlorine. What do you think of?
